Welcome our Warners Bay Senior Club Coaches for 2023!
Preparations are well under way for the forthcoming AFL HCC Black Diamond competition which will kick off on Saturday April 1st. All Senior teams play their first match of the season at Feighan Oval, the home ground of Warners Bay AFC.
Nathan Harkness has extended his contract as Senior Men’s Head Coach for 2023/24.
“Nathan has a strong football IQ, unbelievably strong relationships with our players and I know how much he’s enjoying coaching this current group. This balance and the ability to unite players, coaches and staff in a relentless quest for excellence, makes Nathan the best person to lead us into the upcoming season. The future is certainly bright with Nathan locked in. We’ve got an exciting young playing group and top playing facilities down at Feighan Oval.” – Brett Sweetnam, Senior Club President
Working alongside Nathan will be current Men’s Cup player Gary Huglin, in his new role of Assistant Coach.
Shaun “Irish” O’Leary as joined the Club as the new Senior Women’s Coach for 2023/24.
“I’m committed to the development of our women’s programme and look forward to the journey with this young, but exciting group, in our quest for success.” – Shaun O’Leary
Working alongside Irish will be ex-Bulldog Kade “Boothy” Booth, as the new Assistant Coach.
Lincoln Pearson has been appointed to the role of Senior Men’s Reserves Coach for 2023.
“I’ve always had a strong affinity to this club following the many years that I’ve played for Warners Bay. I am excited to embark on this new challenge and be in a position to help develop our Men’s squad, getting the very best our of each player.” – Lincoln Pearson
